About Matic Entertainment

As Matic Entertainment, (2008) surpasses our tenth year of business,  we are looking to secure a place to manufacture and distribute our short but poignant catalogue. Matic Entertainment located in the birthplace of Hip-Hop Bronx, NY is now boasting an impressive but not surprising lineup which includes, The Juggaknots (Queen Herawin aka Peridot the Gem, KevFevr aka Buddy Slim, and “the Brewin” aka Breeze Brewin), Ray Foges (Adagio!), Carta P (Adagio!), Wiz1 aka Wizdom,  including others. TheMightyMaticMerch is an  initiative to highlight not only the groups’ journey in our 20+year plus career, but to solidify themselves in the merchandise marketplace. Juggaknots, being one of the few independent Hip-Hop groups to first secure a major deal with Sylvia Rhone and Electra East/West in the early 1990’s, Juggaknots were primed for a Hip-Hop takeover. However, as things go, the deal with East/West parted on amicable ways, thus propelling Juggaknots to create a secure their own label imprint, Matic Records Inc or Matic Entertainment in 2008. After briefs stints with Fat Beats Records and Amalgam (distribution outlet out of Boston) distribution for Juggaknots’ existing catalogue and future releases, those relationships were short lived which then prompted Juggaknots and Matic Entertainment to create their own product by either short runs or releasing music via digitally.
